I wasn't there very long but had a great time nonetheless.  Jim and I left on Tuesday and arrived Wednesday afternoon.  It was a terrific ride down and the weather was fantastic.  We walked around the vendor areas, had a few beers and soaked up the sun.  Unfortunately I had to work on Saturday and the weather forecast for Friday was not very promising so I left Thursday night.  Even more unfortunate was the bad weather came in earlier than expected and I was caught in the worst storm that I have ever had to ride through.  I got half the way home in 7 hours Thursday night and it normally takes only 9 hours to make it the whole way.  At midnight I decided to get a hotel and go at it again on Friday.  Well, it was better on Friday, but not by much.  I made it home and survived the storm.  It didn't build character but it did make me very wet.  It was worth it though because I had the chance to ride down with a great friend.  Thanks Jim!  Here are some pictures of custom bikes that we came across.  The 84 Lumber and Fear Factor bikes were built by Metropolitan Choppers.  Enjoy - pegleg
