As you can probably tell from the pictures, York was another fantastic time with great friends.  Tom and I left town on Wednesday and headed for Ocean City.  After having our fair share of seafood, we spent the next couple of hours searching for a store that sold flip-flops in Tom's size. While at the beach, Tom decided to get a couple samples of sand to give to Caye and Kathie, one of which he added a sandcrab.  It's demise can be read about on the Snowflake page.  We arrived at York on Thursday afternoon and met up with Al, Caye, Paul, Kathie, Keith and Donna.  As usual, we rode all thru the day and sat outside during the evening and laughed like crazy.  We had a few beers also.  Unlike last year, I didn't fall out of the shower onto the toilet so Tom did not come home with any embarassing stories about me.  We were all very sorry that Chris was not able to attend but it did mean that we didn't have to laugh at him striking out with every woman with whom he came in contact.  On Friday, I was contacted by my doctor and I scheduled my second amputation for Sept. 30th so it is nice to have spent that weekend with such great friends that are very understanding and supportive.  I write this after the operation and I will allow nothing to keep me from attending in 2006.  Later!            -pegleg
